(SanDiego.CityRegions.Com, July 03, 2015 ) Santee, CA -- Survival Hax has announced the launch of their brand new product, the Survival Water Filter, which makes it easier and safer to hike, backpack, or go camping. Now, outdoor enthusiasts can carry the lightweight Survival Water Filter with them instead of carrying the burden of bulky, heavy purified water.
The team behind this Personal Water Filter has asked outdoor enthusiasts in various niches to test the product.
Mark R. from San Clemente, CA, says, "My wife and I go backpacking almost every weekend in the Summer. On day hikes it can take a lot out of you when you have to lug a couple gallons of water up a hill. The portable filter allows us to trim a lot of weight since we can use it to drink from the lake."
The creators of the Survival Water Filter want the public to know that this invention is geared toward camping, but it can also be just as useful on hikes, bike rides, kayaking, and even doomsday preparations.
Rick Canton, head of PR for Survival Hax, had the following to say: "Not only will this system filter out the dirt from water that outdoor enthusiasts encounter, but it will also filter 99.9% of waterborne bacteria and protozoan parasites in a 100% chemical and chlorine-free device. The Survival Water Filter can filter up to 396 gallons of water and comes with a travel strap that makes it even easier to use and bring along on adventures. On top of that it only weighs .2 pounds, so you're saving a lot of energy carrying water."
He concluded by saying "It's my goal to get our water straw in the hands of every wilderness lover by the end of the summer."
