(SanDiego.CityRegions.Com, October 05, 2015 ) Santee, CA -- Survival Hax has just announced that they will be focusing their efforts on wearable survival technology. The team has announced that they will start selling the Survival Paracord Bracelet later this month. The device has been selling as a prototype for the last few years and proven itself to be a 4 in 1 survival kit that straps to a hand like a bracelet. Brock Michaels from Wyoming had the following to say about his experience. "My wife and I have always been avid hikers so I grabbed a couple of these at a trade show last summer. Yea, they're lightweight and look cool, but that isn't why I keep mine on me. Everyone knows the weather can rapidly change when you're in the mountains. My wife Kate and I were 6 miles deep into a mountain hike when the skies went from blue to grey to black. We got cold and wet, but were able to start a fire to drive off. I love these things."
Rick Canton, who handles public relations and outreach had the following to say. "Brock's story is not that uncommon when it comes to enjoying the outdoors. Our slogan is 'you don't need it, until it's too late' and by creating wearable survival gear for our customers, it's never too late."
The Survival Bracelet weighs less than two ounces and clasps to a wrist with a buckle. It contains 10 1/2 feet of paracord, a knife, a fire starter, and a bear whistle. While the paracord is not meant to be used as a climbing rope, it has been stress tested to handle 350 pounds. The Survival Paracord Bracelet will hit the shelves on Amazon later this month.
