(SanDiego.CityRegions.Com, November 11, 2015 ) Santee, CA -- Survival Hax has announced that they've given their water filtration straw an upgrade. The Survival Water Filter, is now equipped with a Paracord travel strap which can open up to over 5 feet in length.
Creators of the best selling Portable Water Filter have upgraded the straw from simply being a water filter, to a small survival kit. The kit includes parachute cord, a fire starter, a knife, whistle, and a carabiner for travel.
Jay Allen from Bakersfield, CA says, "I had a lifestraw for a long time and I really liked it, but one day it broke so I went looking for another one. Turns out, this one has double the filtration and the strap doubles as a fire starter. I'm a happy camper."
The new technology was aimed directly at those who participate in camping excursions, backpacking trips, long hikes, and emergency preparedness.

The Survival Water Filter currently filters contaminated water at .1 microns which will remove 99.9% of all bacteria. The lifetime effectiveness is 1500 liters.
