(SanDiego.CityRegions.Com, December 05, 2015 ) Santee, CA -- Survival Hax has just announced that they've developed a new way to filter water on the go. The Water Purifier Bottle, is a water bottle equipped with a filter that can purify contaminated water.
Creators of the innovative Water Bottle Filter have developed a BPA Free (Tritan) water bottle that holds 22 ounces water. A water filtration straw is then attached to the cap which uses coconut activated carbon to filter contaminated water down to .1 microns.
Robert Moore from Corona, CA said, "I got this as a survival gift for my wife who does a lot of hiking. I'm always worried that she is going to run out of water, which has happened to her twice. Previously the only way to resolve this was by weighing her down with a ton of water. Now she just takes the water filter bottle and fills it up again when she gets to the lake. She loves it."
The Water Purifier Bottle was aimed directly at those who participate in weekend camping, backpacking trips, long hikes, and emergency prepping.
Rick Canton, CEO of Survival Hax said the following: "People love it because it's simple. All you have to do is find a fresh water source, fill your bottle up, and drink from the straw. You'll have a limitless supply of clean, chemical free water. It uses the same technology as our survival water filter, and combines it with a BPA free bottle and paracord travel strap."
The Water Purifier Bottle filters contaminated water at .1 microns, removes 99.9% of waterborne bacteria, eliminates 99.9 airborne parasites, and replaces up to 1500 water bottles. Chemical free hollow-fiber UF membrane with coconut shell activated carbon creates a filtration method more efficient than the leading water bottle filter which can only remove contaminants down to .2 microns in size. A paracord travel strap was added for survival situations. The 6.5 inch strap can be unraveled to over 7 feet of usable parachute cord. Their website stated it was a nice feature for fixing busted bootlaces and mending torn tents.
The water bottle filter will be available on the Survival Hax website, and on Amazon this December.
