A look at the water purifier bottle unpacked.
Head of PR for SurvivalHax.com and creator of the innovative Water Purifier Bottle has developed a BPA Free water bottle that holds 622 milliliters of water (22 ounces). A water purifier straw is then connected to the cap which uses coconut activated carbon to remove water contaminants larger than .1 microns.
Adam Cohen from Colorado said, "I can't tell you how many times of been on a hike and wanted to get a drink of the cool refreshing water flowing by but had to stop myself after realizing the stream was packed full of bacteria. This bottle fixes that."
The Survival Hax website explains that the Water Purifier Bottle was geared toward those who spend a lot of the time in the outdoors. Not just campers and hikers, but hunters and fishermen too. The water bottle with straw filter allows those people to refill their water supply from lakes, rivers, creeks, and puddles.
In a statement last week, Canton said: "When it comes to water filtration, our biggest customers are the camping enthusiasts, hikers, and backpackers. But plenty of hunters, kayakers, and fishermen have started equipping themselves as of late. When you're outdoors enough, running out of water is something that will happen eventually."
The Water Purifier Bottle is a water bottle that contains a filter straw which is detachable. The filter can clean contaminated water at .1 microns which is currently highest efficiency at which water can be filtered in a bottle. It will remove 99.9% of waterborne bacteria, and will eliminate 99.9 airborne parasites.
The Water Purifier Bottle by Survival Hax replaces up to 1500 water bottles. The company claims that a person who uses this bottle rather than buying a new water every day can save up to $3000 per year.
The paracord travel strap is 6.5 inches long and can be unraveled to over 7 feet of usable parachute cord. Their website stated it was a nice feature for fixing busted bootlaces, mending torn tents, tying up a dog, or hanging a bear bag.
The water bottle with filter will be available on the Survival Hax website, and on Amazon.com in 2016.
