2Kamp Products is proud to release a new product to the cell phone and camera accessory market. THE Pole is a ‘selfie' monopod that allows users to take pictures of themselves and over 3 feet away using their cell phones, as well as other applications. The connection with the phone is wireless (Bluetooth) and allows the user to engage the shutter remotely. The Bluetooth connection fully supports iPhone IOS and Android devices. A bonus for users of cell phones with Android 4.3 or above - the wireless connection allows zoom in/out in addition to shutter function.
THE Pole includes a wrist strap to help keep the user connected with the selfie stick and attached device. The handle includes a power, shutter, zoom in and zoom out buttons. Bluetooth recognition is standard and connected through the cell phone or other connected device. The adjustable segmented stainless steel pole collapses to 9 1/2 " and extends to a maximum of 39". A hinge at the end of the pole allows articulation of the connected device to different angles and permits mounting of many devices.
THE Pole was designed with flexibility in mind, expanding useable devices beyond just cell phones. An adjustable cell phone clamp (included in base package) securely holds cell phones and other devices to monopod. A GoPro camera mount is also included with base package so users of GoPro cameras can utilize the monopod for various GoPro applications. A standard ¼" threaded mount is included, allowing the THE Pole to be used with many different types of cameras.
There are dozens of possible uses for THE Pole. Fun and candid photos of the user, family and friends are just a button away. Allowing the user to operate the shutter remotely puts the user's arm down (as opposed to standard ‘selfie') and creates more natural-looking photographs. Using the GoPro mount or the threaded mount directly with another video-capable camera permits amazing ‘action' footage for many different activities and sports, such as snowboarding and skiing.
