The P-lite Pet Urine Detector is a 12 LED black light flashlight in an aluminum casing. The bulbs are calibrated at the 380 – 385nm UV wavelength, specifically for pet stain detection. As a black light, the salts from the dried urine stains, otherwise invisible to the human eye, will fluoresce or glow under the ultraviolet light. Once the stains are located they can be spot cleaned to eliminate the pet urine odors.
