(SanDiego.CityRegions.Com, August 03, 2015 ) Santee, CA -- Survival Hax has announced that their new water filtration device, the Survival Water Filter, is now able to filter contaminated water at .1 microns.
Rick Canton and his team behind the best selling Water Filter is currently giving out the product at 80% to hikers, backpackers, and survivalists to put to the test.
Cindy H. from Santa Fe, NM says, "Being able to filter water at .1 microns is a huge step up from the bulky unit we used to take on camping trips. Mold spores are filtered at 10 microns, and bacteria is .3 microns. It's nice knowing we'll be taken care of if we did need to live off of river water."
The new technology was aimed directly at those who participate in camping excursions, backpacking trips, long hikes, and emergency preparedness.
Rick Canton, head of PR for the Survival Water Filter said the following: "We want to make a lasting impact on the community to develop something that everyone can enjoy, and most importantly, will benefit from. Currently the biggest water filter brand is only able to purify water at .02 microns. Our Activated Lightweight Carbon Advanced Filtration is able to double that efficiency while increasing the amount of filterable water to 1500 liters."
He concluded by saying "The feedback from the community has been so awesome that we're currently rolling out new variations of the filter that will cater to different enthusiasts. People said I was crazy to give away half of our inventory at 80% off, but this is how you show people that you're serious about serving them."
